APPLICATOR INCLUDED WITH ALL TAGGING STICKS

You can’t tag a billfish without a tagging stick! Check out some options below and/or view our Tag and Release Guide to learn how to make your own.


Tag sticks are sold in either one or two pieces and with or without a release cutter. One-piece tag sticks are easy to store with your other rods. Two-piece tag sticks can be broken down for convenient transportation. The release cutter allows a person to quickly cut the line immediately after tagging. Built-in release cutters are added for convenience, not necessity.
