The Billfish Foundation is excited to return to the International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades (ICAST), the world’s largest sportfishing trade show, taking place July 14–17, 2026, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. ICAST brings together thousands of industry professionals from around the globe to showcase the latest innovations in tackle, apparel, marine accessories, conservation initiatives, and more.
This year’s show is particularly meaningful for The Billfish Foundation as we celebrate our 40th anniversary and continue our “40 for 40” initiative to fund 40 satellite tags in support of billfish research and conservation.
Celebrate with TBF and Okuma
As part of the festivities, TBF is proud to partner with Okuma Fishing Tackle to host a special co-branded Happy Hour during ICAST. The event will celebrate two organizations reaching major milestones while reinforcing a shared commitment to the future of fisheries conservation.
The Happy Hour will take place during ICAST’s official Social Hour and will feature:
- A champagne toast celebrating Okuma’s 40th anniversary and TBF’s 40 years of conservation leadership
- Opportunities to get valuable prizes that will benefit billfish conservation
- Opportunities to connect with fellow industry professionals and conservation partners
Supporting Conservation Through Partnership
The event will also serve as a unique conservation fundraiser. Guests will have the opportunity to make a donation in exchange for a commemorative TBF and Okuma Yeti cup, while also receiving a chance to win exciting prizes through a scratch-off giveaway, like one of Okuma’s newest and most sought-after products: the Makaira Gold Reel.
In conjunction with the event, Okuma will announce a $10,000 donation to The Billfish Foundation and launch a limited-edition Makaira SEA reel program. For one year, a portion of proceeds from reel sales will directly support TBF’s efforts to achieve our goal of funding 40 satellite tags in celebration of our 40th anniversary.
See You in Orlando!
If you’ll be attending ICAST, be sure to stop by, say hello, and join us for this special celebration of conservation, collaboration, and the future of sportfishing.
Together, we can continue advancing the science, advocacy, and stewardship needed to ensure healthy billfish populations for generations to come.
