We are extremely proud to announce our website has been completely overhauled! Over the last year, hundreds of hours have been collectively spent building out an entirely new website from the ground up. Not only does the new site have a completely revamped aesthetic and usability, we have created dozens of pages worth of brand new content. Our new website will be a place for billfish news, education, science, and informative guides for anyone interested in learning about billfish. From a repository of publications to a comprehensive guide for all things related to tagging and billfish, we designed this new site to better represent the mission of TBF while also being a resource for our vast community of supporters.
As for our previous content, all the information from our previous website has been migrated to the new site. However, we have updated the entire user interface, making sure users are easily able to search and locate any topics of interest. Our Tag & Release Application has been integrated within the new home page, providing users with real-time tag, release, and recapture statistics.
One of the most exciting new features of the site centers around the new education pages. A comprehensive species guide has been developed for our users to educate themselves on all aspects of billfish habitats, stages of life, appearance, and more. In the upcoming months, we will be releasing a detailed identification guide to help anglers easily identify all types of billfish.
We are beyond excited to launch this new website. This upgrade gives us a whole new platform to engage with our community. When you can, please explore our new site and let us know what you think. We hope you love it as much as we do!
