To host the largest, privately owned billfish database in the world is one thing. To make that data completely open sourced to the public is something entirely different. The Billfish Foundation receives hundreds of data requests each year from researchers, scientists, conservationists, and fishing enthusiasts, and having the ability to offer this data to said individuals and organizations is something we value tremendously here at TBF. We continue to actively provide and collect data in order to support ongoing efforts to study and protect these iconic marine species.
