BILLFISH CONSERVATION ACT SIGNED INTO LAW!
The Billfish Foundation and our partners at the Center for Coastal Conservationare proud to announce that President Obama signed into law the Billfish Conservation Act this evening. This prohibit the importation and sale of billfish the domestic United States. Therefore benefitting not only the fish but also all the sportfishing and tourist communities dependent on healthy billfish stocks. With one law being signed and passed, the number 1 importer of billfish is now off the market. Congratulations and thank you to all of you who have supported our efforts by sending letters to your congressmen and women as well
