Event Description

Welcome to the 13th Annual Cape Cod Bluewater Classic (formerly known as the Oak Bluffs Bluewater Classic) The Cape Cod Bluewater Classic is a Castafari event based in Falmouth Massachusetts. What separates this event from the rest is that boats can leave from any port in the northeast! New this year, boats can pick any 42 hour fishing window they choose with 6 straight fishing days to choose from.

For outside of New England crews hailing from NY, & NJ, be sure and register early as we can ship your captain’s bags and packets via Fed Ex if you are not planning to attend our registration party on Saturday July 11th. The tournament is hosted at MacDougall’s Marina and The Flying Bridge Restaurant & Marina.

The CCBC offers our boats access to one of the best billfish fisheries in the world, the eastern canyons. 165 billfish were caught in the 2025 event, and almost 700k in prize money was paid out. The CCBC continues to raise funds for local charities such as the Island Autism Group, MV Food Pantry, MGH Colon Cancer Research Fund, MV Boys & Girls Club, and Dion Foundation. This year the tournament will be donating proceeds to benefit the Billfish Foundation, The Skillie Project, and The Fishing Academy, which takes inner city youths in the Greater Boston area fishing. Like always, the CCBC will be offering an invitation to it’s winners to fish in the 2026 Offshore World Championship in Costa Rica.
