From Niceville, Florida, Dr. Goodyear provides all of TBF’s scientific analysis on population dynamics, catch data analysis and other statistical analyses needed for establishing a sound foundation for conservation and management strategies.

Osborn has been a friend of The Billfish Foundation for years having worked in coordination with the late Dr. Russell Nelson on Pacific highly migratory fish issues. Osborn has served on the Pacific Fishery Management Council’s Advisory Committee for Highly Migratory Species (HMS) for the past 19 years. He is a passionate recreational fisherman and in his youth, he worked as a deckhand on charter boats before returning to college and obtaining a degree in Business Administration.

Juliana grew up in South Florida where she developed a love for fishing at a young age. She is currently pursuing her master‘s degree at the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School where she is researching the efficacy of outreach strategies for marine science education. Juliana will assist TBF as a data consultant, inputting tag and release data and identifying methods to streamline data collection, improve the user experience, and improve the TBF database in general.
