TBF Welcomes New Employee, Addie Spain

My name is Addie Spain and I am thrilled to be continuing my time with The Billfish Foundation. I recently graduated from the University of Miami with majors in Marine Affairs and Classical History and a minor in Corporate Sustainability. I have spent the majority of my life immersed in the recreational sportfishing industry, working on boats that have fished around the country from Block Island to South Florida.

The opportunity to move from an intern to TBF’s Constituent Development Specialist will allow me to further my passions, namely fostering a strong relationship between sportfishing and conservation. I believe that open communication between TBF and its volunteer anglers is the first step in bridging the gap between science and local anglers.
