TBF Legends Category Announcement

New Tag and Release Category Announced!

For the upcoming 2024-2025 TBF Annual Tag & Release Competition (November 1st 2024 – October 31st, 2025), The Billfish Foundation (TBF) will be introducing a brand new “TBF Legends” category. We are excited to announce this newly achievable status and wanted to tease it here first before its official introduction on November 1st, 2024. TBF’s decision to introduce this prestigious tier underscores their commitment to conservation efforts within the sportfishing community.

While the specific criteria for qualification have yet to be revealed, the TBF Legends category will set a new standard for excellence in billfish angling and captaincy. As always, membership with TBF is a prerequisite for eligibility, ensuring that participants are aligned with the foundation’s mission of conservation.
