The Billfish Foundation (TBF) is the leader in advancing billfish research both biologically and socio-economically. By working with leading experts across multiple disciplines, TBF acquires sound science for fisheries management and policy issues.  TBF scientists work hard to learn more about these magnificent creatures through the conventional tagging program and satellite tagging, as well as determining the financial importance of sportfishing to local economies via socio-economic studies.
